The Vent 3 Classic Breathable Membrane by Cromar is an outstanding secondary layer protection for your roof. This breathable membrane is fitted behind the first layer of defence, preventing any water that passes through from entering your roofing space, instead being redirected into the gutter. Cromar crafted this product for application in a fully supported or unsupported tiled, slated, or metal roof system. This product stands out from the rest because of its high vapour permeability and waterproofing resistance of the membrane, combined with superior tensile and tear strength and wind resistance.

How does this product resist water but allow water vapour through?
The outer layer of this product is crafted as a fully functional and exceptional waterproofer, whilst the middle layer is a high-quality, breathable waterproof membrane, allowing water vapour inside the roof space to escape. The final inside layer protects the membrane from abrasion and damage and enhances the overall integrity of the membrane.
Application Notes
This product should be fitted in accordance with BS 5534:2018 and Cromar's fixing instructions. The Vent 3 Classic Breathable Membrane should not be treated as a primary layer. Instead, it's the secondary barrier to wind-driven snow and rain. Although it's resistant to UV exposure, this is only for three months, and therefore, good practice suggests that installation of the first layer should be completed as soon as possible.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
