Preparation

Surfaces to which you plan to apply this product must be prepared to achieve optimal results. Clean the surface, removing contaminants that can interfere with the adhesion, including dirt, dust, grease, oil, etc. After cleaning the surface, ensure it's sound, stable and bone dry.

If you're applying this product to fresh plaster, it must allowed a month to dry first. Porous surfaces, including plaster, must be primed with Everbuild 503 SBR bond diluted 1 : 3 water and allowed to dry on the surface.

Application

1. Apply the tile adhesive to the wall at a depth of 3 - 6mm, ensuring that you don't exceed below or above that thickness.
2. In dry situations, use a notched trowel to give a texture across the tile adhesive on the wall and place your tiles accordingly. With a slight twist action to ensure no air pockets are present.
3. In damp situations, do not use a notched trowel. Apply the tile directly to the wall and secure it using a slight twisting action, removing any present air pockets.
4. When completing the application it's a good practice to lift tiles off the wall and double-check that at least 75% of the surface has the adhesive on it. If not, apply more to the tile and reposition.

5. Remove any extra adhesive or spillages while wet using a dampened cloth or sponge. Particularly along the grout line.

Limitations and Notes

• Ensure that you're using the correct product for the application.
• Always follow application instructions carefully.
• It is only to be used for walls; this is unsuitable for floors.
• Do not apply this product, which is subject to penetrating or rising dampness.
• This product cannot be used externally and not for swimming pools.
