Description
Features, benefits and product information
The No Waste Expanding Foam by Everbuild is the ultimate, unrivalled expanding foam on the market that's applied directly from the can. This is because most conventional expanding foams clog after one application due to the foam curing inside the nozzle.
- Re-usability, compared to other expanding on the foams on the market that typically clog after one use
- Safer valve design, crafted with a rubber-free valve, giving no leaky or sticky valve
- Safer for transport, its internal valve reduces potential impact damage, allowing it to sit horizontally or vertically during transport.
- Expanding foam expands up to 100-150% of its original volume, giving you plenty out of a 750ml aerosol can
- Once cured, this product is suitable for cutting, sawn or plastering over after only one hour
However, the technicians at Everbuild thought long and hard to achieve a new nozzle design that prevent this, ensuring that you can apply this product in January, then again in September without concerns of it jamming. Applications this product is typically used in include;
- Irregular gap filling in stone, brick, plaster or concrete
- Filling gaps around pipe entries through walls and gaps around window and door frames
- Electrical wire chasing before plastering
- Deep joints before applying a sealant for pointing or plaster
- Insulate behind cladding to exterior walls and behind soffit and barge boards.
- Fixing window and door frames, timber structures and window sills and thresholds
Preparation
Before starting the application, check the surface and clean it if needed, removing contaminants on the surface that can hinder the adhesion, such as dirt, grease, dust, oil, etc.
Application
- Shake the can thoroughly (about 20 times) before using
- Carefully fix the nozzle to the can, ensuring you don't overtighten or force
- Always apply this product whilst holding it upside down
- Partially fill the cavity, working from the bottom upwards, and the expanding foam will fill the rest
- If you're fixing door or window frames, support must be used until it's cured and must be used in conjunction with mechanical fixings
Limitations and Notes
- Despite this product having a bespoke nozzle to combat the curing expanding foam, you must still clean it after using a Gun Foam Cleaner; otherwise, you risk clogging.
- Ensure you don't leave it in direct sunlight when transporting and storing.
