Everbuild Pinkgrip SF Solvent Free Adhesive – 380ml (Box of 12)

The PinkGrip SF by Everbuild is the ultimate, solvent-free version of the PingGrip range, achieving the exact same results as the original without any harmful environmental effects. It's formulated with such a unique and powerful composite that it's suitable for replacing mechanical fixings in many home improvement applications. Other applications this product is typically used in include;

• Bonding skirting, architraves and dado rails
• Fixing wall cladding directly to internal wall surfaces and timber battens
• Fixing battens onto walls without the need for fasteners
• Bonding carpet gripper system to most floors, without the need for mechanical fixing
• Bonding stair nosing to wooden stairs and concrete
• Securing aluminium or other skin panels to frameworks, portable industrial buildings and cabins.

Preparation

Surfaces that you intend to bond need to be free from contaminants to achieve optimal results. Start by removing all dirt, dust, oil, grease and similar impurities. Wood, plaster and brick may be damp but not running wet, and certain porous surfaces may struggle to bond and may require mechanical abrasion.

Application

1. Cut the tip of the cartridge, making sure you do not damage the threaded screw.
2. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle and screw it onto the cartridge, and then place it into a standard applicator tool.
3. Pointing the tip of the cartridge to the surface or gap, squeeze the trigger to extrude the sealant in a zig-zag motion
4. Bring the two surfaces together, slightly twisting and shifting them upon contact to disperse the adhesive, creating a stronger bond.

Limitations and Notes

• For extremely heavy objects, temporary support will be required.
• Do not use this product for applications where both surfaces are non-porous (Plastic/plastic - metal/metal)
• This product is not suitable for use as a mirror adhesive.
• If applied externally, curing time is dramatically affected.
