Protect P1 Grey Roof Coating — Two 5kg Tins

Planning a larger roof maintenance or repair job? This pack supplies two 5kg tins of Protect P1 Grey Roof Coating, giving you 10kg in total.

Protect P1 is a high-build, solvent-based acrylic coating reinforced with fibres. The fibres help bridge small gaps and cracks, while the coating creates a continuous waterproof barrier. It is water resistant immediately after application.

Suitable surfaces

The label lists flat and pitched roofs, weathered asphalt, bituminous surfaces, gutters, concrete, brickwork, fibreglass, felt, and galvanised or ferrous metal. Check that the coating is suitable for the condition and construction of your roof before use.

Coverage and drying

Apply at approximately 1–2kg per m². Together, the two tins cover an estimated 5–10m², depending on the condition and porosity of the surface. The coating is touch dry in 3–4 hours and fully cures in 6–7 days.

Prepare a clean, dry surface free from loose debris, moss, lichen, dirt, grease and standing water. Stir thoroughly before and during use, then apply generously with a brush, roller or squeegee to form a continuous coating. Apply at 5°C to 25°C and read the full product label and safety instructions before starting.
