Uses
The 5 Min Gel PU Wood Adhesive by Soudal is a fantastic cartridge-stored glue that provides superior bonding strength. It's excellent for use with all types of wood, utilising its polyurethane composite to fill gaps in uneven surfaces, making it versatile and superior to its competitors. This product is forged with excellent resistance, allowing it to be used internally and externally, and its D4 water resistance enhances its protection. A unique feature of this product is its ability to bond window and door frames, including corner connections, complying with the relevant EN204 regulation.
Preparation
Before commencing the application, prepare the surface by removing all contaminants, including dirt, dust, grease, oil, organic growth, etc. It's important to check the condition of the wood, ensuring it's sound and stable. Finally, due to this product's moisture-curing process, lightly moistening the surface with water enhances the curing and bonding process.
Application
- Cut the top of the cartridge, taking care not to damage the threaded screw.
- Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle with an opening to your desired width
- Place the cartridge into a suitable applicator tool
- Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces which are to be bonded; once you apply this, you'll have a 15-minute open time to bring the surfaces together.
- Bring the first surface to the other, compressing and clamping for at least 1 hour.
Limitation and Notes
- Clamping is required during the curing process as the adhesive strength is enhanced through it.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
