The Genius Gun Insulating Foam by Soudal is an excellent polyurethane expanding foam that provides fantastic gap-filling properties. Its overall adhesion to common surfaces is excellent and offers outstanding stability, resulting in no shrinkage or post-expansion. This product is applied through Soudal's patented Genius Gun, which is an effective and reusable feature that allows you to have multiple applications in one canister. This product is commonly used in the installation of doors and windows, general cavity filling around the building and opening cavities in roof constructions, creating acoustic screens and sound deadening.

Preparation

Ensure that there's no organic growth, dirt, dust, grease, oil or similar contaminants present that can interfere with the adhesion of the expanding foam. Afterwards, lightly moisten the surface, as this helps with the adhesion and curing process of the expanding foam.

Application

1. Shake the can thoroughly for at least 30 seconds.
2. Straighten the applicator tube and turn the can upside down; ready to apply.
3. Apply pressure to the Genius Gun and fill the cavity up to 30% to 40%, allowing the expanding foam to fill the rest.

Limitations and Notes

• Whilst using this product, you should regularly shake it to ensure it's mixed.
• This product can be reused for at least six weeks before it's no longer usable.
• Any cured expanding foam has to be mechanically removed
• Any uncured expanding foam can be removed using a damp cloth
• If you have to apply more than one load of expanding foam, allow the first to cure, moisten the surface and apply a second layer.
